Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Ask Zac ("the Service") is operated by Fortune Teller Inc., operating as "Ask Zac" ("we," "us," or "our"). The Service is an AI-powered administration tool for Zoom available at askzac.ai. It reads your Zoom account data, answers questions about Zoom configuration, builds configuration plans, and executes approved changes to your Zoom account settings.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Account Terms

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must have the authority to connect a Zoom account to the Service. By connecting a Zoom account, you represent that you are an authorized administrator of that account or have been granted permission by an authorized administrator.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us promptly at security@askzac.ai if you become aware of any unauthorized access to your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, usage quotas, or plan restrictions
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without our written consent
• Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or connected systems
• Use the Service to make changes to Zoom accounts you are not authorized to administer

4. Human-in-the-Loop Approval

Zac proposes configuration changes but does not execute them without your explicit approval. When Zac generates a configuration plan, you are presented with the proposed changes and must approve them before any modifications are made to your Zoom account.

You are responsible for reviewing and approving all configuration changes. By approving a plan, you authorize Zac to make the specified changes to your Zoom account. We recommend reviewing each proposed change carefully before approval, particularly for changes affecting security settings, user permissions, or account-wide configurations.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate responses, configuration recommendations, and administrative plans. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information.

The Service is not a substitute for professional IT administration review, particularly for security-critical, compliance-sensitive, or large-scale configuration changes. You should independently verify important recommendations before applying them to production Zoom environments.

6. Billing and Subscription

The Service is available in Free and Pro tiers. The Free tier provides limited functionality at no cost. The Pro tier requires a paid subscription.

• Payment processing is handled by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-period, you retain access to Pro features until the end of that period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days advance notice. Price changes take effect at the start of your next billing period.

7. Data Handling and Privacy

Our collection, use, and protection of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, documentation, and branding, is owned by Fortune Teller Inc. and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose during your subscription term.

You retain all rights to your data, including your Zoom account configurations, chat content, and any data you provide to the Service. We do not claim ownership of your data.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• We are not liable for any changes made to your Zoom account that you reviewed and approved through the Service.
• We are not liable for Zoom API downtime, rate limiting, or changes to Zoom's platform that affect the Service's functionality.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.
• Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fortune Teller Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at security@askzac.ai.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if required by law.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
• Your data will be available for export for 30 days following termination. After 30 days, we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will survive.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
